Christmas at Guildford Sunset Homes
Over the Christmas period, Guildford Sunset Homes was filled with festive cheer and wonderful entertainment.
Each year, Guildford Sunset Homes hosts a festive event for residents in the Grade II listed main house drawing room which is filled with character with its charming period features and large traditional sash windows providing an enviable view of the communal gardens.
Last year, the Women's Institute performed carols and this year they welcomed David Woloszko for a fantastic afternoon of music, paired with a delicious buffet lunch for everyone in attendance.
It was a perfect way to celebrate the season together.
About David Woloszko
David is a professional opera singer and actor based in Bexhill on Sea. He has been performing in residential settings for many years and has sung everywhere from the Sydney Opera House to a barn in outback Western Australia. His shows are a joyful walk down memory lane - from Al Jolson to Elton John and he gets the audience involved with plenty of sing alongs.
You can expect classics from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Perry Como, The Carpenters, The Seekers, The Beatles, Elvis, ABBA and more, plus show tunes from beloved musicals like Carousel, The Sound of Music, and Oklahoma.
